STOREFACTORY
There's a moment when you pick up a Storefactory piece for the first time and think — why does this feel so familiar?
It shouldn't. You've never owned it. You've never been to the small Swedish region of Småland where it was made. And yet it feels like it's always been yours.
That's the thing about Storefactory. Madeleine and Matten, the two people who started this brand weren't trying to create something new. They were trying to create something that felt like it had always existed. Objects that belong somewhere. Objects you stop noticing after a while, not because they're boring, but because they've become part of the room.
Why we adore this brand
We first came across Storefactory the way we find most of the brands we stock, slowly, and then all at once. A ceramic candle holder here. A vase in a corner there. And then the realisation that every single piece was made by the same people, in the same corner of Sweden, with the same quiet obsession for getting things right.
What we love most is that nothing about Storefactory tries to impress you. The lines are clean. The materials are natural, ceramics, glass, cotton, wood. The colours are the colours of a Swedish winter morning: soft whites, warm greys, the occasional earthy tone that grounds everything around it.
Their pieces are made to last. Not because they're precious or delicate but because they're honest. A Storefactory ceramic candle holder doesn't ask for attention. It just sits there, looking exactly right, for years.
Many of their products are still made in Sweden, a decision that costs more and takes longer and is absolutely the right thing to do. We respect that enormously.
When we visit the Fair we immediatly felt the brand doing exactly what it was made to do.
Making a home feel like one.
